I have been loving and caring for animals since I was child and have always felt that a house truly was not a home without the warmth of an animal or two! After 15 years in a successful and rewarding career as a Behavioral Therapist (specializing in autism), I devoted my time to raising 3 children and our much loved 8 year old Miniature Schnauzer, Cali.
Over the years, I found myself gradually devoting more and more of my spare time to my lifelong passion – loving and helping animals. I began volunteering at the S.P.C.A, I became a puppy socializer for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and participate in work to help stop puppy mill abuse. My family and I adopted our second dog, a beautiful little Papillon named Sophie, rescued from a Kansas puppy mill. During the adoption process, I connected with a national breed rescue organization and was asked to join them and help in any capacity I could. Currently, I conduct home visit interviews to screen prospective foster and adoptive families.
Starting Animal Instinct Pet Sitting enables me to bring my lifelong passion, behavioral training, and natural instinct with animals to the area of professional pet care.
At Animal Instinct, I am proud to offer the absolute highest level of care and concern for your pets. You can be assured that your pet's needs are being met above and beyond the basics! Your pet’s safety, health and happiness are always my primary concern.
